While most gossip columns celebrate the blink-and-you-miss-it celebrity marriages, some celebrities actually managed to get it right. These 10 celebrity couples kept the romance going--or at least didn't end up in a decades-long legal battle:
1. Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith
Married in 1997, matriarch Pinkett-Smith has opened up in recent years about her relationship with Smith, stating that they conduct their marriage on the basis of communication and trust. The couple went so far as to establish the Will and Jada Smith Family Foundation, dedicated to strengthening the relationships of inner-city families, so don't expect divorce papers between this couple anytime soon.
2. Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell
While this couple never tied the knot, they began dating in 1983 after starring in several movies together. Hawn and Russell have one son and are still is crazy about each other. While marriage may never be in the cards, the eternal lovebirds are still cozy on the red carpet.
3. Iman and David Bowie
Most supermodel-rockstar relationships implode. Bowie and Iman have made it 20 years. With date nights and a little homemaking, the couple and their daughter have built a cozy life in New York City and London.
4. Jay-Z and Beyonce
Jay-Z and Beyonce have managed to evade the gossip tabloids throughout their relationship. Only after their daughter, Blue Ivy, was born did the couple open up slightly to the media. Keeping close and a low profile have definitely helped build a strong relationship with this pair.
5. Annette Bening and Warren Beatty
A 21-year age difference didn't keep this celeb couple apart. Neither did Beatty's reputation as a Hollywood playboy. Whether it was Bening's cool, composed personality or her own celebrity that kept Beatty faithful, the couple has been going strong for 23 years.

While their four-year marriage imploded amid allegations of death threats and restraining orders, in recent years Richards and Sheen have put up a strong front for all of the Sheen children. After 30 years of a marriage that included substance and alcohol abuse, domestic abuse and a bout with cancer, Sharon finally demanded a divorce from Ozzy during a separation. 8. Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward
Newman once remarked, "Why go out for hamburger when you have steak at home?" This 50-year marriage was the hallmark of a successful, loving and monogamous marriage in Hollywood. Newman's death shortly after their anniversary was devastating to Woodward.
9. Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson
Married in 1988, Hanks and Wilson have consistently supported each other's careers throughout the years. Wilson helped develop Hanks accent for "The Terminal," and Hanks played gopher while Wilson directed "My Big Fat Greek Wedding." This 15-year marriage is still going strong.
10. Oprah Winfrey and Stedman Graham
The 27-year relationship for this celebrity couple isn't built with lavish expressions of love or even fancy weddings. The billionaire remarked that though engaged, but never married, she felt she and Graham were like an old married couple.
